Detailed description
Shape
Asscher diamond
The cutting was discovered in 1902 by the Asher brothers, in Antwerp. This type of cut has a shape close to an octagon. The "asher" cut came into fashion in the 1930s and was popular due to the majestic look it gave to the stones.
Size
0.7 carat
Diamond weight has historically been measured in carats. 1 carat = 0.2 gr. Since diamonds are rarer in nature the larger they are, the weight of a diamond dramatically affects its price. A one-carat diamond will cost more than two half-carats of the same characteristics.
Color
G (Slight color)
Natural diamonds can come in a variety of colors. Some of them are highly valued: blue, pink and even yellow - the more pure the color and saturation they have. However, in colorless diamonds, the presence of yellowish hues makes them less valuable.
Clarity
VS1 (Very small inclusions)
Natural diamonds, as a rule, carry traces of their birth in the depths in the form of inclusions of varying degrees of visibility. Only less than 1% of stones can boast of absolute purity - FL
